Ally Bank's active 2026 promotion gives eligible referred customers $100 for opening and using a Savings or Spending Account as required. It affects new deposit customers who enroll through a personal referral link by December 31, 2026. The account choice determines what comes next. Savings customers must complete recurring transfers or qualifying direct deposits for three months, while Spending customers need a qualifying direct deposit within 60 days.

Who qualifies for the $100 bonus?
The offer is limited to customers who have not held any Ally Bank deposit account since January 1, 2024. That exclusion includes joint account owners, according to Ally Bank's new-customer referral terms.
Existing Ally Auto or Ally Invest customers may qualify if they have not held an Ally deposit account during that period. Eligibility therefore depends on deposit-account history, not simply whether someone already has an Ally relationship. A prospective customer should check these points before applying:.
- You received an Ally customer's personal referral link.
- You have not owned an Ally deposit account since January 1, 2024.
- You can open either an eligible Savings or Spending Account.
- You can complete the required funding and account activity on time.
How enrollment and initial funding work
Start from the referrer's personal link and enroll before opening the account. You must open the eligible account within 30 days of enrollment and use the same email address entered through the referral link. You must also fund the new account within 30 days.
Trial deposits—the small amounts sometimes used to verify an external bank—do not satisfy this funding requirement. Save the referral page, enrollment confirmation, and applicable terms. These records can help establish which promotion and deadlines applied if the bonus does not track as expected.
What activity earns the bonus?
Savings customers have two routes. Within 30 days, they must establish either an Ally-initiated monthly recurring transfer from an external account, in any amount, or a qualifying direct deposit. They must then complete that activity for three consecutive months.
Spending customers must fund the account within 30 days and receive a qualifying direct deposit within 60 days. Ally says it will pay the $100 within 30 days after the qualifying deposit, provided the account remains open and unrestricted. A qualifying direct deposit must be an identifiable employer payroll or government-benefit payment. Zelle payments, mobile check deposits, and transfers between Ally Bank accounts do not count, as specified in Ally Bank's official referral terms.
Referrer rewards, expired offers, and practical limits
Selected existing customers can earn $50 when a referred customer successfully enrolls, opens an account, and funds it. Ally caps these payments at five rewards, or $250, per calendar year, and customers who were not invited cannot claim referrer rewards under Ally's referrer terms. The separate $300 GET300 Spending Account promotion is not available for new enrollment in 2026.
Enrollment ended November 10, 2025, though customers who enrolled on time could still finish the required deposits and receive payment afterward, according to Ally's official offer-status page. Do not assume the referral bonus will combine with another promotion. Ally may end the referral program early, limits participants to one bonus, and treats the payment as taxable interest. Complete the required activity promptly and keep the account open and unrestricted until payment arrives.
